Deafness can be caused by allergy

Almost any medical problem can be tackled using the environmental approach. The environmental approach teaches one to open up one's mind to all sorts of possibilities. Claudia was born deaf, her mother was told she would never hear, her deafness was officially registered and arrangements were made for speech therapy and teaching to learn sign language. That is, until Claudia's Mum decided to take her off dairy products. Normal hearing was restored.

Any normal human being would have hailed this as nothing short of a miracle, but not Claudia's ENT surgeon, who refused to accept that food allergy could have had anything to do with this. "I must have got the diagnosis wrong" was all he would say.
