The main problems arise from dental amalgam fillings which leak toxic metals into the body resulting in a low grade poisoning. See the section on Toxic Problems in particular:

Sensitivity to dental materials can be tested for by Lymphocyte sensitivity to metals and chemicals.

There is considerable discussion about root canal fillings and cavitation as a cause of CFS. I canonly judge by what I see clinically and I have not been that impressed by the results of such treatments. My guess is that this is another facet of poor immunity. See Chronic infections in CFS.
